2. Aton and Elan In Wall impedance matching volume controls

There are two different types of in wall impedance matching volume controls.

These fit in wall and provide separate volume control for a room or area. They attenuate the volume coming from a power amplifier and are typically used in basic distributed audio systems or sub-zoning in a multi-room application.

They come with white, almond and ivory faceplate kits.

Aton AVC 100R : is a rotary version of the volume control.
 
Aton AVC100SL: this has a neat slider control and looks sleek and modern on the wall.


Elan VSE2: This an electronic version with built in level indicator LED’s and an infra red sensor, it also has some built in additional features for external IR control.

It impedance matches as a room is switched on balancing power and keeping your amplifier from overloading.
